چکیده

A new drug delivery system for H2 receptor antagonist Ranitidine hydrochloride, was developed utilizing both the concepts of adhesiveness and of flotation, in order to obtain a unique drug delivery system which could remain in the stomach for a much longer period of tim Floating-Mucoadesive tablets of Ranitidine hydrochloride were developed to prolong its release and improve bioavailability. Ranitidine has been the most widely used drug for the treatment of peptic ulcer. A floating drug delivery system (FDDS) was developed using gas sodium bicarbonate, citric acid and hydrocolloids, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) and carbopol 934P. Floating delivery system of Ranitidine hydrochloride was prepared using different grades of HPMC as drug rel retarding polymer and sodium bicarbonate as source for carbon dioxide which helps tablets to float. Tablets were prepared by direct compression. The prepared tablets were evaluated their physicochemical properties and drug release, excipient compatibility, density, buoyancy test, mucoadhesion force, swelling study, drug content and vitro release profile. An interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) is any material containing two polymers, each in network form. An IPN is a combination of at least two polymers, and IPN can produce synergistic effect by sharing the properties of both the polymers consequently avoiding the limitations of natural as well as synthetic polymers. The present review discusses various types of IPN. Various methods of prepar...

The application of iron and copper in combination with Rhizobium was studied with on the growth of Vignamungo(L.).The Vignamungo(L.) seeds were grown in different concentrations (0, 30, 60 and 90ppm) of iron and copper individually in natural conditions. This study has shown that copper and iron metal ions have stimulatory effects on plant growth at low concentration but it turns toxic at high ...
